Privacy policy

The information we use when you visit the Bergman Billing website or begin a conversation with our team.

1. The organisation responsible

BERGMAN GROUP LTD, trading as Bergman Billing, is responsible for personal information collected through this website and in the early stages of a prospective client relationship.

2. What we receive

  • Your name, work contact details and organisation.
  • The service, billing-volume and operational information you choose to include in an enquiry.
  • Security and request data such as IP address, approximate country, browser information and timestamps.
  • Your analytics preference, stored locally in your browser.

3. Purposes and legal grounds

We use enquiry data to reply, evaluate the requested service, prepare a proposal and take steps you request before entering a contract. We use limited technical records for our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the website.

Optional analytics runs only with consent. If you later become a client, the services agreement and related privacy or data-processing terms govern operational data.

4. Who may process the data

We do not trade personal information. Contracted providers may process it for hosting, database, communications, analytics, security or professional advice. They are limited to the relevant purpose and subject to appropriate obligations. We may also disclose information when law requires it.

5. Transfers

Where a supplier processes information outside the United Kingdom, we use a legally recognised transfer mechanism and additional protections where applicable.

6. How long we keep it

We generally retain an enquiry that does not become a client relationship for no more than 24 months. We may retain contract, finance, security and legal records for longer where necessary to meet an obligation or deal with a claim.

7. Your choices and rights

You may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to or receive personal data, depending on the processing and applicable law. Analytics consent can be withdrawn by clearing the stored preference and choosing necessary storage only.

Email hello@bergmanbilling.com to make a request. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.

Cookie preferences

Necessary storage is always on. Analytics stays off until you opt in.
